Of Mice and men Joshua mckinley

I have just finished reading the book of mice and men and I am going to blog on their dream. They both had a huge dream of owning a ranch. They wanted to have cattle and chickens and Lennie wanted to tend to rabbits. This dream is somewhat realistic. You have to look and see that they have no house or anything and that they cant hold a steady job because of Lennie. They are very poor and homeless, but I believe anything is possible and if they really put there hearts to it and really worked hard for it they could reach that dream. I think it is important for people to have dreams for the future because if you don't you wont know where you going.For example if you just graduated high school and you don't have a dream to be anything you won't know what job to go after. If a dream goes unfulfilled for a long time you should not just quit keep working towards that goal. But if you know there is know way for you to reach it then choose a new goal. It would probably be better to hold onto a unrealistic dream when there is nothing else left. Keep your self esteem up and at least try. If you let go of it you just may lose all hope. As for Lennie and George they never did get that ranch.
